We visit this lodge regularly and I can’t explain how much we adore it. It’s beautifully clean and comfortable and in such a beauty location. The owners are wonderful and accommodate our every need and more. It was our anniversary stroke husband’s birthday get away and arrived to welcome board, balloons and treats. This little find was the best place we’ve ever been, perfect rural area yet close enough to small towns. We chose here as part of our mini honey moon for 4 nights and this was our favourite of all places we stayed. The lodge itself is stunning and until you’re there you can’t imagine how big, spacious and light it is. Gweneth really took care of all the things for us, it was like being in our own home, all the little touches really made it a unique experience to us as a newlywed couple. As a host you couldn’t ask for anything more from anyone she really has been amazing. Everything you needed was there, even the peace and quiet listening to the birds singing throughout the day. ‘We stayed at Elm Lodge with hosts Gwyneth and Linda who now own it. We absolutely loved our time there and will definitely be back as well as recommending it to friends and family. The lodge was cleaned to a very high standard and we felt very safe in a post COVID time. Communication with Gwyneth and Linda was fast and efficient. We were given all the information we needed prior to our visit and there is lots of helpful information at the lodge itself. It’s a lovely lodge, well decorated and in a wonderful countryside location. It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. There are about 10 lodges in Billingsley Park Lodges so you are not completely alone. We ordered a Chinese takeaway from a menu already at the lodge and had no trouble getting it delivered. “Fantastic views from a wonderful lodge. Situated in Billingsley, not too far from Bridge North centre it a home away from home. Tastefully kitted out with all you need to relax and unwind. Elm Lodge is a true little gem that you will never forget. It is well equipped and maintained and unbelievably clean. “Really enjoyable long weekend away. My Wife and I booked Elm Lodge for a weekend away from the kids (first time away for 18 months), and we certainly picked the right place. Early morning coffee on the terrace with no noise other than the birds was pretty magical – but to see the sun rise at the same time was breath-taking. The hot tub on the terrace was also well used… overlooking the trees on one side and the fields on the other. We had a lovely welcome gift and Gwyneth and Linda took care of every little detail in the lodge. Cleanliness was 10/10. We had a fantastic stay at elm lodge. Lovely peaceful location which was ideal for exploring. Gwyneth and Linda made the cabin very homely and the bottle of Cava on arrival was appreciated after a long drive. Bridgnorth is about 10 minutes drive away and some of the local takeaways do delivery which was ideal on our first night. During our stay the oven stopped working but it was fixed the same day which was brilliant service. There is nothing bad to say about the lodge the only thing I could say is the hot tub could do with upgrading but that’s me being picky. We enjoyed our stay that much we have booked to return. Just got back from a long weekend away (Fri-Mon) and have had the most amazing time. Elm lodge is amazing, it is fully equipped to the highest standards and has everything you need for a self catering break, we even cooked a sunday dinner. On arrival Gwyneth and Linda had left us a bottle of cava which we enjoyed in the hot tub later on that evening. The surroundings are lovely and so peaceful. “This is still one of our favourite bolt holes. Owing to Covid and our need to isloate we have been waiting for this little break for a long time (we originally booked for Easter 2020 but had to postpone our visit a couple of times). During our wait Phil and Sue the original owners have sold the lodge. However, the new owners, Gwyneth and Linda seem to be carrying on with the excellent work. The lodge of arrival was very clean and tidy and equipped with everything you need for your stay, despite some items having to be removed owing to Covid restrictions. The hot tub is maintained daily and is a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day, especially with a glass of complimentary bubbly. The location of the lodge is on a small site situated far enough from any main road to ensure that the only noise is from the birds in the wooded area below the lodge. It’s located halfway between Bridgnorth and Bewdley giving access to a number of reasonable eating places and other places of interest such as West Midlands Safari Park and Sevrn Valley Railway. All in all this is a comfortable well equipped lodge in a fantastic area either for family days out or just the relaxing peace and quiet in a well maintained lodge with hot tub. We visited the Ship Inn in Highley (ten minutes away on the River Severn) and had a day in Ludlow too. There are many walks too as well as the towns of Bridgnorth and Bewdley too. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.”

“We enjoyed a 3-night stay at Elm lodge at the beginning of August. The lodge sits in a secluded area with a handful of other lodges. The lodges are well spaced out with private parking and during our stay it was so peaceful even though it looked as if all of the lodges were at full capacity. Elm lodge is extremely spacious and would easily accommodate 4 people, the hosts were extremely helpful and left a bottle of fizz for us on our arrival, which was very much appreciated after a long drive. The accommodation was immaculate and toughly cleaned with all the mod cons you would want. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and watch the birds and the squirrels from my bed, whilst drinking a cup of coffee. The only recommendation that I gave to the hosts were that black out curtains would be a very good addition, as currently the curtains are very light and we were awake as soon as the sun came up but we had such a relaxing time that I feel this is only something that would improve the experience. The hot tub was lovely to use when we returned from a day of exploring. Bridgnorth, Bewdley and Ludlow are within a 30 mins drive and there are plenty of pubs to choose from that have very good Covid measures in place. I would recommendation Pheasant at Neenton as this is a lovely country pub that does exceptional food and the Feathers in Ludlow, which serves good pub food, very good Covid -19 measures in place and good service. Would definitely recommend Elm lodge if you want a lovely relaxing break in immaculate accommodation”

“Set in beautiful Shropshire countryside and away from traffic, Elm Lodge is perfect for relaxation and is so comfortable and clean. It was lovely to wake up to such a rural setting looking on to woodland and to the delight of birds feasting on the constant supply of nuts and seeds supplied by the owners. The property is near to Wyre Forest which has great walks and to the Severn Valley railway. So much to explore and discover including many historic Shropshire churches. After days out, it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub. This was indeed a bonus at the end of our day and to see the sunsets. The lodge is light and airy, spacious with everything we needed. Phil and Sue, the owners, had thought of everything and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and milk. At the end of an enjoyable week’s holiday, we left happy and contented and will definitely be returning.”
