“Set in beautiful Shropshire countryside and away from traffic, Elm Lodge is perfect for relaxation and is so comfortable and clean. It was lovely to wake up to such a rural setting looking on to woodland and to the delight of birds feasting on the constant supply of nuts and seeds supplied by the owners. The property is near to Wyre Forest which has great walks and to the Severn Valley railway. So much to explore and discover including many historic Shropshire churches. After days out, it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub. This was indeed a bonus at the end of our day and to see the sunsets. The lodge is light and airy, spacious with everything we needed. Phil and Sue, the owners, had thought of everything and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and milk. At the end of an enjoyable week’s holiday, we left happy and contented and will definitely be returning.”

“Private lodge near the town of Bridgnorth. Perfect accommodation! The lodge was spacious and light with modern facilities. Very clean with all amenities. Lovely outdoor decking to sit on with an amazing hot tub! Everything provided! Phil and Sue were very welcoming and received a lovely bottle of fizz on arrival! So peaceful to sit on the decking right through to the evening in the sun. Plenty of parking, easy to access and lots of information before arrival so we knew what we were doing. Definitely would book again!!”

“My wife and I spent a long weekend at Elm Lodge for a relaxing break away from the kids. In a word – stunning. The quality of the accommodation is outstanding, it is sparkling clean and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub and watching nature all around us was such a special experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a break in this lovely part of the country.”

“We had a lovely time at Elm Lodge. The lodge was very comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. There was everything you could think of in there, even products to use the dishwasher/washing machine if needed. There was a large amount of crockery and cooking utensils which was nice. On arrival we were welcomed by a nice bottle of bubbly on the table with a welcoming letter. Also had milk in the fridge for us which was a bonus too. The living area was nice and comfortable, the chairs were extra comfy and you just sunk right into them. The beds were very comfortable as well. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms for clothes etc. Bathroom was just as spacious and the showers were both nice and powerful. We had 1 small issue with bed linen when we arrived, but a quick phone call to Phil and he was round within about 10 minutes to sort us out. Was nice to have a little chat with him and a nice man he was too. Despite the weather not being great and our first time in the area we still had a great time and it didn’t stop us in our tracks, We visited Warwick Castle, RAF Cosford, Wightwick Manor, Blist’s Hill, West Midlands Safari Park all within a short drive from the Lodge. The added board games/jigsaw puzzles and books were a lovely touch. And with the weather not being on our side, it was nice to have those things to do of an evening in there. We did manage to get in the hot tub which was so relaxing. Temperature was just right and could have stayed in there for ages as it was so peaceful. We woke up every morning to the birds and squirrels at the feeding station which was lovely. The feeders were filled up during our stay which was good as the food didn’t seem to last too long for the hungry little visitors. We had a little chat with Phil and Sue when were leaving the lodge and what lovely, friendly people they are. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Elm lodge if we wanted to stay in the area again. Would recommend this property to others.”

“We returned recently from our second stay, we took our daughters along this time, they were very impressed with the spacious lodge, and loved it. An ideal location in the countryside. The lodge was lovely, and hot tub blissful. It contains everything that you need for a relaxing stay. We fully recommend this lodge to one and all, Phil and Sue the owners are lovely and are close by should you need anything, again we were very grateful for the welcome bottle of bubbly left by Phil and Sue and thoroughly enjoyed it whilst watching the stars in the hot tub. I would say this holiday is ideal for couples for families with older children, as the lodge setting has no amenities on site which suits ourselves, as we are there to relax and chill.”

“This lodge is part of a small group located in a quiet spot on the edge of woodland. It makes for a relaxed stay with good bird-spotting, especially as the hosts have located a set of feeders on the balcony. The lodge is very well equipped and nicely arranged. The area has plenty of interest. Obviously the Severn Valley railway is a main attraction, but there are lovely walks and nice Riverside pubs too. Then get in the hot tub with a cold drink… Perfect day.”

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed here – we did Xmas a couple of years ago, and nothing has changed. You would expect it to have suffered some wear and tear over that period – but no! The lodge is as immaculate as ever! We are a family of 4 with a 10 and 19 yo – who love coming here too. (There is wi-if!!?). We love watching the birds on the feeders and sitting in the hot tub watching the world go by… it is so quiet! Great locality for Bridgnorth and the surrounding Shropshire countryside.. facilities are that good we are attempting to cook a full English Roast Dinner in the kitchen today… everything is there to do so! We will definitely come back again! Love this place.”

“We stayed in Elm Lodge for my 30th birthday and had an amazing time! The lodge was lovely, clean and had everything we needed! Phil and Sue were lovely and the bottle of fizz on arrival was a brilliant gesture. It was our first holiday with our 12 week old baby girl, there was plenty of room to put the cot and everything else we needed. The views from the balcony were fab and the hot tub was an added bonus! I will be booking the lodge again and would highly recommend it! Bridgnorth is a lovely place and has got plenty of places to eat. Thanks again Phil and Sue”

“This was our third visit to these properties, Phil and Sue the owners have two of these cabins, Ash a one bedroom lodge and Elm the two bedroom lodge we stayed in this time. The lodges are very clean and well equipped with all you need for a short break, full size oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The lodges are also warm and comfortable even for a February break. The icing on the cake is obviously the full size hot tub on the balcony, this is immaculately maintained and is a fantastic place to lay back and view the stars with a cold glass of Prosecco which is in your welcome pack, but take more we find a bottle a night fits the bill. The true recommendation for these lodges is the visitors book virtually every entry into the book is by people on their second, third or even more visit, the best recommendation is that people want to return, I know we will. First class.”

“My husband and I had a 3 night stay at elm lodge for my 40th birthday and we were blown away. The lodge was immaculately clean the bed sheets smelt amazing. It was warm and very homely the hot tub on a cold January night was amazing seeing the stars was a highlight. Watching the birds in the morning from the bedroom was beautiful too. Tons of information on places to go and walks. The website really doesn’t do the lodge justice it exceeded our expectation. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends. Thank-you Phil and Sue for letting us stay in your beautiful lodge.”

“What a fabulous lodge! We spent 5 days in Elm lodge and it was perfect. Immaculate, peaceful, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so relaxing and the hot tub was absolutely brilliant. The local area is lovely with lots to do for families. We had a great day in Ironbridge and hired bikes in the Wyre forest.
